Message Let the bashing begin. Having been the recipient of both these radiators, I just thought I'd give my input on the two. The first radiator pictured is AMS's twin turbo radiator upgrade I purchased for $295 + shipping from Z1. The second radiator pictured is a "DNA motoring" or also known as "Speed daddy" ebay upgraded racing 2 row twin turbo radiator that I purchased for $137.00 shipped through ebay. Yeah you heard right $137 SHIPPED ($107 + $30 shipping)!

It is my belief that these two radiators are identical with the exception of two minor differences. I wouldnt even call the first difference a difference as it only pertains to logos.... anyways the first difference is that the AMS radiator has their log painted on both sides of their radiator and their logo laser etched ontop of the radiator. The second difference is the AMS radiator uses a metal drain plug as compared to a plastic drain plug on the $137 radiator.

Everything else to me is identical, even the 1.3lbs pressure cap is identical. The welding quality looks identical to me also. It is my belief that these two radiators came out of the same factory in China (with the exception that AMS requested their logo on it along with a metal drain plug).

So far this $137 shipped upgraded radiator has not failed on me at all. I am quite happy with it. It doesnt leak and my car does not overheat. I'm the kind of person who likes name brand quality parts but I'm also the kind of person who believes there are a certain replica products (e.g. such as the HICAS eliminator kit which has been copied by everyone and their mother) that work just as equally good or even better than the original for a fraction of the price. Besides, I dont believe the AMS radiator is the original anyways. To me both the AMS and this Ebay one are just copies from whoever the original is (Koyo or Howe?). Looks like AMS just requests their log on it with metal drain plug and DNA motoring and every other Ebay powerseller player just buys it plain without logos or throw their store logo on it.

But for $137 shipped on this Ebay unit you cant go wrong. I think its a great upgraded twin turbo radiator! I know majority on here hates AMS products along with Ebay replica offered products, but for the record (leaving ethics out of it) I just want to say that I dont believe the AMS radiator is a faulty bad radiator in anyway. Its just that the price difference is ridiculous. So if you're in the process of wanting to upgrade your radiator, I dont believe spending $295+ shipping for an AMS radiator is any better than this $137 shipped Ebay radiator. To me they are identical! No need to pay an extra $200 for the AMS unit.
